Dacoda Nichole Jones, who likewise did not name Rice by name, posted a series of photos on social media that seemed to depict indicators of bodily harm. Jones did say the person involved was the parent of her kids, and it is known she has two children with the football player, whom the Chiefs selected in the 2023 draft.

Rice's Prior Legal Issues
Rice missed the initial part of this NFL campaign due to an NFL suspension for his involvement in causing a multi-vehicle accident on a Texas roadway that resulted in multiple people injured. He was given 30 days in jail and probationary supervision after pleading guilty to serious offenses.
On the field, he finished the year with 53 receptions for 571 receiving yards and five TDs as the Chiefs finished with a losing record and failed to qualify for the postseason for the first time in a decade.
